Carrie DeLisle found her calling at nineteen, working as a sales director for a small hotel in Oriskany, New York. It's where she learned that no event runs perfectly, and the job is what you do about it.
"A leaky ceiling once threatened to shut down a reception. We turned it into a rainforest: hanging greenery, warm light, guests who never knew there was a problem at all."
That instinct, to notice the detail no one else caught and fix it before it becomes a memory of the wrong kind, is still how every Excellence In Details event is run today. Carrie has organized events from intimate ceremonies to a 5K charity race for Golden Ocala Country Club's Run for 9/11, complete with a helicopter landing, a bomb squad honor procession, and bagpipes playing Amazing Grace.
Today, she and her husband Steve bring that same precision to weddings, quinceañeras, and celebrations across the Denver-metro area.
